How much does it cost to get enrolled with TaxPro Elite?
A Well, we offer two different enrollment options . For existing tax business owners, our Software and Support Package starts at $1,500. For entrepreneurs looking to Start their own tax firm those packages range from $1,000 – $5,000.

Do you offer payment plans?
AYes, on some of our packages. We can set up your TaxPro Elite account with a minimal down payment of $500.

How long is the contract term?
A Our contract terms normally begins with one tax season, but could extend longer depending on the business model selected.

Can I change to another package next tax season if my business needs change?
AOf course. You can always upgrade to another package and pay the difference.

Is having good credit a requirement?
ANo. Having good credit is not a requirement to become an affiliate partner.

What is an EFIN ?
AAn EFIN is an Electronic Filing Identification Number that allows you to file taxes electronically to the IRS. Our Advanced Affiliate Partner Package do require you to have an EFIN. We do assist you in the IRS Registration process. If you are unsure about being able to obtain an EFIN, feel free to give us a call, and we can discuss your options. Our basic package does not require and EFIN.

What is a PTIN?
AA PTIN is the Preparer Tax Identification Number that all tax preparers must obtain when assisting or preparing a return for compensation and submitting the return to the IRS. You can obtain a PTIN online at www.irs.gov The cost for the PTIN is $50 and must be renewed each tax year.

Do you offer tax training classes?
AYes. We offer certified IRS continuing education training for you and your preparers. Our training is available online and we also offer in class scheduled trainings at our Corporate Office.

Do I have to have previous tax preparation experience?
ANo. Previous tax experience is a PLUS, but NOT required. If you have no experience or have prepared less than 50 tax returns, the Basic TaxPro Package is probably your best option.

What are the benefits of using bank products?
ABank products will allow you to deduct your tax preparation fees directly from your customers tax return without them incurring an out of pocket expense at the time of tax preparation.

What banks are you currently partnered with that offer bank products?
AOur banking partners are SBTPG (Santa Barbara Tax Product Group), Refund Advantage and Refundo.

Do I have to get approved by the bank to offer bank products?
A No, not if you are partnering with us. Our existing good standing banking relationship will qualify you to offer bank products, print checks, issue debit cards, and offer cash advances.

Will I be able to print checks and issue debit cards for a client that does not have a bank account?
AYes you will in most cases.

How will I receive my fees for the returns that I have prepared?
A Your preparation fees will be direct deposited into your bank account.

Do you offer support throughout the tax season?
AYes. Our support team is very experienced and are able to handle any questions or concerns that may arise. We offer unlimited tech support, software support, and tax question support throughout the entire tax season.
